Victorian plumbing, public toilets, Rothesay
Something of a showpiece, the gents toilets feature glass-sided cisterns and copper piping above the ceramic urinals and tiled walls.

Opened in 1899, these Victorian toilets were restored and improved by Strathclyde Building Preservation Trust and re-opened in 1994. The elaborately tiled gents feature ceramic urinals manufactured by Twyfords Ltd, Cliffe Vale Potteries, Hanley. (Information from the leaflet 'Rothesay's Victorian Toilets'.)
