Greymare or Saddle Rock
Greymare or Saddle Rock
Some passing walkers pause to examine the exposed folded limestone beds projecting out from the shore. Although the feature appears as 'Greymare Rock' on all Ordnance Survey Maps, it is known locally as 'Saddle Rock', while fishermen refer to it as 'The Whale's Belly'.

The saddle shape is seen clearly from this angle.
