The mill is long closed and demolished, and there are no regulatory gates. This is where the water from the upper channel of the Tame flows down to meet the original course of the river.

The River Tame is a river in the West Midlands and is a major tributary of the River Trent. It rises near Oldbury and joins the Trent near Alrewas, a length of some 90km.
