Ridsdale iron works furnace house from A68
Early 19th century Grade II Listed furnace house within the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Ridsdale Ironworks that was established in 1836. Virtually closed in 1848, two of the furnaces were moved in 1864 to W.G. Armstrong's works in Elswick.
