Sandringham House is the private residence of Her Majesty The Queen. It was completed in 1870 on the site of the former Sandringham Hall. The gardens were opened to the public by King Edward VII in 1908 and the House itself was made publicly accessible in 1977, the year of The Queen's Silver Jubilee.
