A stunning view from the top of West Cliff, adjacent to Tout Quarries at the northern end of the Isle of Portland. In the foreground is the South West Coast Path, the longest National Trail in England, which here coincides with the Portland Coast Path.

Beyond is (to the right) the village of Fortuneswell. Beyond that again is the broad sweep of Chesil Beach with (to the right) Portland Harbour, (to the centre) the town of Weymouth and (to the left), the Fleet, the lagoon which separates Chesil Beach from the mainland.
