The 'Calshot' is a preserved ship of the type known as tug-tender. She provided the dual function of a tender carrying passengers to and from liners which anchored away from quays, and of a tug to manoeuvre liners in docking and undocking. She entered service in 1930 as part of the fleet of Red Funnel line which operates ferry services to the Isle of Wight.
Taken from the Town Quay ferry terminal.
