A view from the Hilton Hotel (Beetham Tower). The tram stop at Deansgate/Castlefield is currently being remodelled. When work is completed, passengers will benefit from a new inbound island platform and a new outbound platform, as well as improved access and facilities. Two new track cross-overs are also being installed that will allow trams to turn-back in both directions, making the stop an interchange.
