(Archive Link ) , located in the grounds of the Church of the Irish Martyrs C1812 : RC Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny. This station "consists of an earth anchor bar with matching alloy surround and yellow center cap....it is set in a concrete block (600mm.sq.) at surface level." I assume that the centre cap (no sign of anything yellow - either faded or disappeared) is designed for something to fit into it; of all the Irish passive GPS stations this is the only example of such a design. This is a close-up view of the centre cap.
