The tower has an unusual decoration for an English church.

The south transept window seen below the tower here is the notable window showing the nativity, by Edward Burne-Jones. I have tried to capture that artwork at ST4226 : Burne-Jones Window at St Mary the Virgin, Huish Episcopi, Somerset. The north transept also has a fine window from the early twentieth century.
