Rectory Green
Rectory Green
Part of the area of Rectory Lane waste. It is at its deepest here, between Oak House (the drive to which crosses the common and from which the photograph is taken) and Stonecrop, known as Rectory Green. This part is mown and kept open.
Rectory Lane waste

An area of 1.71ha of roadside waste along Rectory Lane, south of Buckland crossing, and north of the village. The waste is registered common land which extends both sides of the road, although it is at its deepest south of Oak House, known as Rectory Green, where it is also mown and kept open: elsewhere, the common is mainly wooded. Most of the waste remains within the ownership of the Buckland Court estate.
