SO6024 : Site of the weighbridge house

taken 10 years ago, near to Ross-on-Wye, County of Herefordshire, England

Site of the weighbridge house
Site of the weighbridge house
The sorry looking pile of bricks behind the fence in the foreground is all that remains of the weighbridge house which used to stand at the entrance to the station drive. The weighbridge is still visible, albeit mostly now removed and the hole filled with tarmac, and the little weighbridge house was here until a couple of years ago, when it was demolished, and the site fenced off, for a reason which is still not apparent. In the background are the premises of Wye Valley Precision Engineering.
