Course of old railway at Hom Green
This uninspiring shot of a steaming manure pile actually shows the course of the former Ross to Monmouth railway line. The pylon, the pile of manure and the photographer are all standing right on the trackbed. Behind me the railway is used as an access road and is much clearer but I couldn't get a picture looking that way. The railway closed to all traffic along this stretch in 1964.
