Disused underground oil storage depot, Harpley Dams
There are a number of underground tanks, concrete roads and old buildings which are all still surrounded by high security fencing but the site appears to be abandoned. Possibly a former camouflaged storage depot for aviation fuel for RAF Great Massingham and other nearby airfields? It was situated next to a railway line and had its own sidings when it was built. The tanks, covered in grass, can be seen on Google Earth.
