"Steam's up"
The railway from Haltwhistle to Alston was closed in 1976. The section from Alston to Lintley has now been reopened as a heritage railway. This shows a steam locomotive at the crossing at Alston station. The plate reads "Harrogate", but a loco of this name is not listed in the South Tynedale Railway website.
