Real "Boys Own" British Empire stuff here.

No disrepect to the late Captain, but "Captain Charles Pulleine Craster, 46th Punjabis, who fell in action during the Thibetan Expedition, June 1904" must be an imaginary character from one of Michael Palin's Ripping Yarns.

Was there really a Thibetan Expedition of June 1904 and what was their excuse for being there? Looking for the Yeti's weapons of mass destrucion (WMDs) perhaps?

And the name, Captain Craster (from Craster no doubt), must be invented. There's something fishy going on around here.
