Drystone barrier-Newington Bagpath, Glos
The Cotswold stone wall, for centuries acting as man-made barriers to the movement of animals and defining boundaries. Out in all weathers, the people who built these have passed their skills down the generations. Drystone walling courses, along with courses in other countryside skills, are held today and organised by the Cotswolds Conservation Board from their offices in Northleach. Time taken 4.50 pm BST (British Summer Time).
