St Francis church: east end
The church building dates from 1935; this is the original east end and tower, with the 1970s north aisle and ancillary rooms to the right.
St Francis of Assisi, West Wickham
An unlisted Anglican parish church on Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham (a suburb of Bromley).
The nave and chancel (architects: S E Newberry and C W Fowler) are in perpendicular Gothic style, somewhat outdated for 1935. An extension was added on the north side in 1973 (by S W J Smith). The Church Hall dates from 1960 (Riches & Blythin). [source: 2010 quinquennial report, D Golberg].
