taken 8 years ago, near to West Wickham, Bromley, Great Britain

St Francis church: bell tower
The tower contains 8 bells which are rung as a carillon (hammers operated by a keyboard), not by the traditional method of full-circle ringing with ropes.
St Francis of Assisi, West Wickham
An unlisted Anglican parish church on Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham (a suburb of Bromley).
The nave and chancel (architects: S E Newberry and C W Fowler) are in perpendicular Gothic style, somewhat outdated for 1935. An extension was added on the north side in 1973 (by S W J Smith). The Church Hall dates from 1960 (Riches & Blythin). [source: 2010 quinquennial report, D Golberg].
