Cattle by a pond in Monks Wood
Cattle by a pond in Monks Wood
There are two large fields in Monks Wood, which contain many uncommon grassland plants. The fields are grazed each year by cattle to maintain the open habitat. Ponds have been dug in recent years to provide water for the cattle and the ponds also attract wildlife such as newts and dragonflies.
