Looking towards Alnmouth Viaduct
Looking along the line of the footpath which follows the River Aln towards Alnmouth Viaduct which carries the East Coast Mainline railway across the river valley. The viaduct was built in 1849 and was designed by Robert Stephenson. The 18 arch structure, which has 2 piers in the river channel, is grade II listed.
