Don’t look down – the narrow ledge on the highest point of “The Cobbler”
After passing through the "window" in the rock to a sloping ledge, from which there is a big drop off to the right, a clamber up on to rocks ahead above the ledge enables a further scramble up round to the left to gain the highest point of the rock outcrop. Some people do this manoeuvre with seemingly the greatest of ease while others are content to sit on the solid ground of the middle peak and watch others tackle the rock outcrop.
