taken 11 years ago, near to Walker Fold, Lancashire, England

The 'long ridge' of Longridge Fell
The ridge is very broad and rounded with good views to the north where the ground falls away but little to be seen southwards due to the conifer plantation. In August there is a huge swathe of heather in bloom.
