No.40 High Street, the former Pacific Exchange, dated 1899, but built 1900-01, by B.S. Jacobs. Home to the Humberside Police Authority, recently sold to the City Council. Following a serious fire, the middle section of the building was destroyed. The eastern section, depicted, was refurbished and converted into flats. An unusually car-free day.
