Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Flamborough
Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Flamborough
When all the cows were sleeping and the sun had gone to bed
Up jumped a scarecrow and this is what he said:
“I’m a dingle dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat,
I can wave my hands like this and I shake my feet like that.”

Flamborough Scarecrow Festival 2014

Every August the village of Flamborough hosts its annual Scarecrow Festival. The event lasts for a week during which residents and visitors alike can follow a trail of scarecrows through the village. The theme for this year is nursery rhymes.
The festival is to raise money for the Flamborough RNLI and is always well supported.
A map and list of entrants is available from venues around the village and delicious refreshments are available from the Flamborough Women's Institute Hall (chocolate cake to die for).
