Glendaruel Caravan Park.
The caravan park occupies the site of Glendaruel House which had been owned by Harrison Cripps from 1904 until 1947. Harrison Cripps was an eminent London surgeon and an uncle of Sir Stafford Cripps who, as Chancellor of the Exchequor entertained the German Chancellor here just before the war. The house was a hotel when it was destroyed by fire in 1970. This fountain is on what was the front lawn.
