The Dowles Brook flows here from its source at Bagginswood, Shropshire SO6881 and joins the River Severn contributing its waters to the greater of the two. The North Worcestershire Path is routed across this bridge. This waymarked route starts at Bewdley SO7875 and ends at Majors Green SP1077 close to the southern edge of Birmingham, on the way visiting Kingsford Country Park, Kinver Edge and the Clent and Lickey Hills. Time taken 10.30 am BST (British Summer Time).
