Watersmeet House
Watersmeet House is owned and run by the National Trust as a tea room, shop and information centre. The NT took ownership of it in 1996 but it has operated as a tea room since as far back as 1901. It was originally built in 1832 as a fishing lodge, and is dramatically located at the confluence of Hoar Oak Water with the East Lyn River, being actually situated near the northeastern bank of the latter before the rivers join.
