taken 10 years ago, near to Chad Valley, Birmingham, England

Wolverhampton to Birmingham canal
Wolverhampton to Birmingham canal
Part of the direct route engineered by Thomas Telford, which eliminated much of James Brindley's original, circuitous route. The Icknield Port Loop heads off to the southwest of here at the bridge on the far right of this photo, passing through Rotton Park on its way towards Edgbaston Reservoir.
