The Later Hall in Kidwelly Castle
These two remaining gables show the outline of what the interpretation boards call the "Later Hall". It nestles against the wall of the inner ward, which is the oldest part of the castle and actually sits within a later part - the outer ward. The hall was built later still.
This shot was taken from the steps up to the walk on the outermost wall that forms the outer ward.
