Cairn circle near Glassonby
Cairn circle near Glassonby
About the best view that can be obtained of this megalithic structure from the public road. Technically a kerbed cairn, rather than a stone circle. It lay under a large mount until excavated in 1900. The valley of Glassonby Beck lies beyond.
