On the right of this view of Boscastle is the Cobweb Inn, offering food, drink and accommodation. The building dates back to the 1700s when it was an off-licence, at that time there were said to be 22 pubs in the village. Two floors of the building were once used as a warehouse and it was not until 1947 that the building became officially a pub. The cobwebs which gave this pub its name are still there though not as many as there once were. Information from their website LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) .
