Daybreak and Amy Howson, Beverley
Daybreak and Amy Howson, Beverley
Moored in Beverley Beck following a festival of ships to celebrate the centenary of the sloop Amy Howson (right, in the distance). Daybreak dates from 1934 and was one of the last sailing keels built. She has been fully restored and re-rigged and is normally moored on the River Thames. Amy Howson was built in Beverley. Based at South Ferriby, she can carry 12 passengers and makes regular sailings on the Humber.
