A view of the barn and dovecote at Minster Lovell. The Grade II* listed barn LinkExternal link can also be seen in SP3211 : Minster Lovell - Old Hall and barn & SP3211 : Minster Lovell - Barn & remnants of East Range of Hall
The dovecote is also Grade II* listed LinkExternal link and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument LinkExternal link
During winter months the dovecote can only be viewed from the outside, but I believe access to the interior is possible in the summer.
These buildings lie adjacent to Minster Lovell Hall (ruins) and St Kenelm church (see shared descriptions below) and would have been part of the Manor complex originally.
Minster Lovell Hall

The ruins of the mid C15th Minster Lovell Hall lie between the church of St Kenelm Link and the River Windrush in a very attractive and picturesque site. The hall fell into a ruinous condition in the mid C18th, though an engraving of 1729 LinkExternal link suggests it was still in good condition as late as this.
The manor and hall were owned by a number of different people since its construction in 1431/32 for William 7th Lord Lovell. It is now in the care of English Heritage (see LinkExternal link )
A plan of the ruins can be seen here LinkExternal link
It is EH Grade I listed LinkExternal link
and the site is a listed Ancient Monument LinkExternal link

Church of St Kenelm, Minster Lovell

The church of St Kenelm in Minster Lovell dates mainly from the mid C15th and is therefore in the Perpendicular style of Gothic architecture. However it incorporates some earlier features, so a church has been on this site for many years. The adjacent Minster Lovell hall which is accessed via the church's graveyard also dates mainly from the mid C15th which no doubt is when the church was largely rebuilt, probably on a considerably grander scale than the original.
The church is EH Grade I listed LinkExternal link
There are also five listed chest tombs in its churchyard.
