A view across the low walls that are all that remain of the West Wing of Minster Lovell Hall at this point. Towards the left of the image are the remains of the circular well in the corner of this wing and the northwest building. The grass of the former courtyard then leads onto the more substantial ruins of the Great Hall block of the North Wing in the background.
See shared description below:
Minster Lovell Hall

The ruins of the mid C15th Minster Lovell Hall lie between the church of St Kenelm Link and the River Windrush in a very attractive and picturesque site. The hall fell into a ruinous condition in the mid C18th, though an engraving of 1729 LinkExternal link suggests it was still in good condition as late as this.
The manor and hall were owned by a number of different people since its construction in 1431/32 for William 7th Lord Lovell. It is now in the care of English Heritage (see LinkExternal link )
A plan of the ruins can be seen here LinkExternal link
It is EH Grade I listed LinkExternal link
and the site is a listed Ancient Monument LinkExternal link
