This pathway leads to the Outer Court at Minster Lovel Old Hall. The covered passageway to this door is one of the few parts of the fine old building that remains roofed - and with some good ribbing and bosses, as seen in SP3211 : Minster Lovell - Old Hall roof detail

Minster Lovell Hall
The ruins of the mid C15th Minster Lovell Hall lie between the church of St Kenelm Link and the River Windrush in a very attractive and picturesque site. The hall fell into a ruinous condition in the mid C18th, though an engraving of 1729 Link
suggests it was still in good condition as late as this.
The manor and hall were owned by a number of different people since its construction in 1431/32 for William 7th Lord Lovell. It is now in the care of English Heritage (see Link
