taken 5 years ago, near to Yalding, Kent, Great Britain

Buston Manor from the Greensand Way
Buston Manor from the Greensand Way
The Greensand Way is 108 miles long and runs from Haslemere in Surrey to Hamstreet in Kent. This is the section between Linton and Yalding which largely follows the scarp edge of the Greensand Ridge and provides superb views across the Weald.

Here it descends to pass through Buston Manor and its many outbuildings. Buston Manor itself is medieval in origin. It is L-shaped and the south front seen here is late 17th century.
