The Four Crosses
Some parts of this landmark coaching inn on the A5 date back to 1636, and are supposedly constructed using ships' timbers (although it's a mighty long way from the sea; it would surely have been much more economical to obtain fresh oak from nearby). The pub, which is currently up for sale, has a reputation for supernatural apparitions, both indoors and outside in the carpark. Consumption of alcohol surely not implicated here in any way whatsoever.
