Western bank of the Bann at Derrylard
The western bank of the Bann at Bannfoot is accessed by the Columbkille Road. This was the site of the Bannfoot ferry, which connect the townland with the village of Charlestown, which is located on the other side. Nowadays, one must drive a considerable distance, through Portadown, in order to reach the eastern bank.
