This is the plate on the wall on the right in SE0125 : Location of Mytholmroyd Water Works valve marker plate. Mytholmroyd UDC was formed in 1894 and abolished in 1937 when it became part of Hebden Royd UDC. I have not been able to find a reservoir or other source of water on old maps, but they might have bought water from Morley Corporation, who owned the Withens Clough Reservoir. The abbreviation 'MYD' would be to distinguish the plate from Morley's 'MCWW' plates.
