Embleton beach
Embleton beach
A lovely stretch of sand to the east of Embleton village. It is interesting to examine the rocks and pebbles along the shoreline here as there are near black lumps of dolerite, grey limestones, pale sandstones and occasional pieces of old red sandstone and even granite, presumably dumped here by glaciers.
