Bournemouth: a family enjoys an unseasonally warm Hallowe’en

On what was reckoned to be the warmest Hallowe'en ever, a family takes advantage of the lovely half-term sunshine on the beach. We look down on them from the West Cliff.

The temperature reached 19 degrees in Bournemouth, six degrees above average for the time of year, but some areas of southeast England achieved 23 degrees today.
