Midford viaduct, Midford
Midford viaduct, Midford
The viaduct was built to carry the former Somerset and Dorset railway from Bath to the south coast. It crossed a road, a river and another old railway, the Limpley Stoke to Camerton branch. At the left of the image can be seen a smaller bridge that carried the Limpley Stoke line beneath the right-hand arch of the viaduct.
