the famous ex-LNER Class A4 Pacific type locomotive "Sir Nigel Gresley" pulls a steam train through Bury during a spell operating as a guest locomotive on the East Lancashire Railway.
The locomotive, built in 1937, was the 100th Gresley Pacific built by the London and North Eastern Railway, and the railway honoured her designer by giving the locomotive his name "Sir Nigel Gresley". Originally numbered 4498, it now carries its British Rail number 60007.
