2014 Remembrance Sunday Ceremony, St Peter's Square

This year, a large crowd gathered for the annual Remembrance Sunday* ceremony which was the first to take place at the city centre’s newly-relocated war memorial in St Peter’s Square. This view shows the north-east corner of the square at Princess Street, taken from the art gallery.

*In the United Kingdom, Remembrance Sunday is held on the Sunday nearest to 11 November, Armistice Day, the anniversary of the end of hostilities in the First World War at 11 am in 1918
