Hepscott railway station site, Northumberland
Opened in 1850 by the Blyth & Tyne Railway from Bedlington to Morpeth, this station closed to passengers in 1950 and completely in 1964.
View south east towards Choppington and Bedlington. The line was mostly single track and whilst initially provided with two platforms, the only platform in use after 1914 was to the left. Both had been demolished by 1977. However, the Station House still survives, to the right of this image.
