Originally a WW1 Drill Hall, built in 1892, the home of the 7th Battalion, Black Watch [B Company]. Link. Now in community use. The pair of plaques on each side of the door are in remembrance of local figures from the 19thC-early-20thC - Professors Thomas Gray, Andrew Gray and David Page, and the soldier poet Peter Leslie NT1893 : In remembrance of Thomas Gray and Andrew Gray, NT1893 : Memorials to Peter Leslie and David Page.
