Darling Buds Farm
What is now called Darling Buds Farm but was then Buss Farm was used to portray Home Farm for the filming of 'Darling Buds of May' between 1991 and 1993. The garden of the farmhouse was often used for filming: for example when the Larkins, Charley and the Brigadier had dinner under the trees, and where Pop, Ma, Mariette and Charley came out of the back porch in the rain and listened to nightingales. No actual filming was done inside the house.
The famous oast house can be seen through the trees - see Link This view is from a footpath which passes across the driveway to the farm and then to the south of it on the way to Capralama Farm.
