St Barbara's Church, Earlsdon
St Barbara's Church, Earlsdon
Situated on the corner of Rochester Road and Beechwood Avenue, St Barbara's replaced an earlier building when the congregation outgrew the previous church near this site in the 1920s. By 1930 money had been raised - from local manufacturers including Sir Alfred Herbert of machine tool fame, among many others -for the purchase of land and by 1931 the church was completed.
