Somerset C.C.C.'s historic old pavilion is no more. The ancient old wooden structures were a familiar feature of this ground since the 1880s; however, time and tide wait for no man and the lot has come down. Somerset have made £3.8m available to create a modern stand that will enable them to provide for International matches.
